Why Two-Part Strength Cycles Are Your New Best Friend
Hey CrossFit Angier fam! We’ve got some exciting news for you. Our next strength cycle is going to be a two-parter, and trust us, it’s going to be a game-changer for your fitness journey.
The First Part: Power Lifts and Olympic Lifting
In the first part of the cycle, we’re focusing on Power Lifts like Back Squats and Shoulder Presses, mixed with some Olympic Lifting. The aim? To build that posterior chain and get you embracing the grind of strength training. Expect more core work and accessory pieces to develop midline stability and overall leg strength.
The Second Part: The In-Between Lifts
After a one-week break to reset, we dive into the second part, which focuses on the in-between lifts of Olympic lifting. We’re talking about heavy sets and singles within specific percentage ranges. The volume will be higher than usual, so scale down if you’re new or need a break.
Why Two Parts?
Two-part cycles allow for targeted training, giving specific muscle groups the attention they deserve. It also keeps things fresh and engaging, so you’re less likely to hit a plateau.
So gear up, CrossFit Angier warriors! This two-part strength cycle is designed to push you, challenge you, and most importantly, make you stronger than ever.
