The time has come to put the “beer” in “Beer League!” CrossFit Angier’s own Joey and Rachael have extended an invitation to everyone for an event that promises to be as chill as the ice it’s played on: the CCHL Inaugural Brewer’s Cup Draft Tournament. Ice has been booked, teams are forming, and we can’t wait to cheer on our favorite breweries and charities!
The tournament is set for September 1st to 3rd at the Raleigh Iceplex, and it’s not just for players. Everyone is welcome to come and cheer for a good cause. Each team, captained by brewery owners/employees, will compete for a charity of their choice. The competition includes Edit Beer Co., Fainting Goat Brewing, JoCo Brewing, and Raleigh Brewing, all playing for some incredible causes.
The action kicks off with the Draft Party at Raleigh Brewing Arboretum in Cary on Friday, September 1st from 6:30-8:30pm. And if your skates are a bit dull, don’t fret, Sparx will be on-site for sharpening.
